There Are No More Unvalidated Persons / Why Am I Not Getting To Validate? / Not Getting Any Applications To Review?

Not getting (m)any applications to review?

------------------

Post by @nicolas - June 20, 2022:

How frequently you see the “no more work needed” screen depends on how many people are applying from your country in real-time. Thanks to algorithmic improvements and the excellent job of the validators, we are constantly current in processing KYC applications lately. This means that there is no backlog per cent of people for which the algorithm can thoroughly read their IDs and safely approve their applications considering validator input. There are, of course, still several KYC applications that are getting stuck every day. For stuck KYC applications, we are improving the algorithm, and we plan to allow people stuck to self-improve their KYC applications by allowing them to edit and resubmit those “difficult” parts. The majority of the applications are getting approved within 15 mins from the moment the person applied right now :) Keep up the great work, validators. At this rate, we will be able to hold the first migration of some Pioneers to the Enclosed Mainnet soon.

๐Ÿ‘‰ You can repeatedly go between the “Good job!” page and the Validators dashboard. You might get some applications to review this way.

Thanks for your help and patience!

Not getting (m)any validations?

Many validators report not getting (m)any applications to review. There are currently no applications in queue for your country; it might pick up later... You could try:

✔️ Go back and forth between the validator dashboard and the "Good job!" page multiple times in a row. This may get you some applications to review.

✔️ Just leave the open until a validation pops up.

✔️ Some general troubleshooting for connection issues: switch wifi-data, close all other apps using internet connection, restart phone, clear Pi Browser app cache.

FEEDBACK From our Validators

1) I need some clarification. Many members have their KYC requests pending for more than two weeks. Some mods on our and our neighbour country chat say it depends on validators. I cannot agree with that. I know a bunch of other validators saying to me that they barely get some to validate and most of what they get is to check photos matching and liveness check of people from other countries. So how can it be that everything is up to validators when they do not get any compatriot's request to validate, yet all those members are waiting to be validated for such a long time?

2) We were told one can only validate from his or her region, but that is not the case. Each of the validations I did is people from other regions. So far, I've only managed 10/10. Still hoping to validate more.

3) I became a validator and got about 10 documents for validation, but since then, I have not got any documents for validation. When I open it to validate, it says there is no application which requires validation. I am from Nepal

4) I was once a validator, but now the app says, “ Applied for the validator, under progress.”

However, passed the migration, the transfer of pi in the main net wallet is not happening. It has been almost 1.5 months.

5) We lost our validation status Almost 50days now, and we have made so many complaints about it, but up to now, there has been no response from the @CORE TEAM, which is very painful for us........pls let this be the last time we complain about our issue........Thank you all

Answer FOR 4) & 5) : NO

Maybe => KYC currently has some technical issue, so be patient.

SOME answers from the Support Portal - Mods

1) Each Pioneer successfully passing KYC and migrating to Mainnet is paying 1 Pi to get KYC. This amount will be pooled and split among validators based on their contributions (number of correct validations). However, we do not have accurate statistical data yet to determine the average number of validations needed per KYC request for many reasons. Eg. we plan to further reduce the amount by applying even more AI. The fewer validations needed per KYC request, the higher the amount paid per validation. Also, we need to finalize some KYC requests that are currently tentatively rejected, as many of them need to be accepted actually (see read more in the Home Screen). So overall, we have to wait a while before distributing Pi to validators.

For reference only, I got this from joining many groups on Telegram.

2) Dear friend!  The same goes for everyone, even those who have done authentication for thousands of people!  All Pi numbers are summed up and will later be divided by AI depending on the contribution of each validator!  We work together to build a thriving ecosystem and increase the value of Pi Network!  What if you just approved 11 applications and asked for the same as me and thousands of others, hundreds, thousands of times more than your work?  If you get tired, stop your validation work!  Others and so many others still work hard to do it!

TIPS from me:

1) To increase the Accurate Percentage, you have to be validating a substantial number of voter’s cards alone for them to add up to lower your accuracy percentage.

2) You can go back and forth between the “Good job!” page and the Validators dashboard multiple times. You might get some applications to review this way.

=> Hints: 10 times / 20 times / 30 times etc or just leave it. It will come out. Therefore, you have to make sure you are always with your phone all the time :)

3) You can possibly validate photos and videos of other people from other regions except for their documents. Keep validating what comes your way and earn your Pi ๐Ÿ˜‚
